This custom-built log home, that comfortably sleeps ten, has been constructed into the mountainside and is surrounded by forest and the fragrant smell of the local flora and fauna, offering you privacy, warmth and

the comforts of an upscale home. 

The huge wrap-around decks offer you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while listening to the nearby babbling creek. There's no better place to leave the stress of everyday life behind and relax in a gorgeous outdoor setting.

The interior of this three-story log cabin offers additional privacy within. Each floor consists of private sleeping quarters, a full bath, and a bonus/sitting room. Three of the bedrooms are outfitted with king-size beds while the fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a bunk bed with a double mattress down and a single up. 

The cabin has been tastefully decorated with your comfort at the forefront of our design ideas. We aim to think of everything, you'll need to make our home, yours.

All prices are subject to 11% Accommodations Tax 

Daily Rates begin at $225/night..  

There is a $170/per stay cleaning fee.

Dog Fee of $150.  Maximum Two Dogs.   Sorry, no cats.  We have a family member that is allergic to cats and we do use this home often ourselves. Please ask about all pets before making your reservation.

Marzena M. said...  I have been spending time at this particular cabin year after year since the first time I went in 2013. The reasons I keep coming back are many.... the location, the trees, the privacy, the nature, the beautiful light streaming through the large windows, the comfortable couches, and the feeling of home away from home each time I visit. But this time i realized something which I obviously started to take for granted: the details. After spending a couple of days at this house, (due to our own scheduling reasons) we had to move to another cabin for one night. It’s only when there, that we noticed the details which we came to expect at Linger Linger and which apparently are non-existent elsewhere. Our one night away, we missed the plush robes in the closet, the soft quality sheets on the beds, the foam toppers and cozy comforters....the kitchen stocked with every pot and utensil ... the jacuzzi, the working fireplace, the nice shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom, even the soft toilet paper... Unlike our new rental (to which we are never coming back) Linger Longer simply has all the amenities I would have if I were to have my own “vacation home.” We are definitely coming back and this time with a whole new appreciation. 

mountain j. said...   From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and peaceful. This home is cozy yet elegant, well laid out and well maintained. The home is nestled into a beautiful resort community in Maggie Valley. It's centrally located to restaurants, shopping, hiking, skiing, apple picking, sight seeing, Golf, tennis, etc. Everywhere we looked were the amazing colors of the changing leaves, and the home itself feels like a hug. Its exactly what our family needed and was hoping for when we booked it. It exceeded all expectations, and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for the perfect mountain retreat.

The owner has done an outstanding job of providing everything you could possibly want or need, and the location is ideal.
